How we create content

Editorial Policy

Our standards for original writing, quote attribution, reader usefulness, corrections, and responsible use of writing tools.

1. Our mission

WishesVerse publishes wishes, messages, quotes, and prayers to help readers express something sincere. We focus on useful wording, suitable tone, and clear guidance rather than publishing large collections of interchangeable phrases.

2. Topic selection and original value

We choose topics around real situations: who a message is for, the occasion, the relationship, and what the writer wants to convey. Articles should offer distinct examples, practical ways to personalize them, and context where readers need it. Closely related search phrases may be served by one stronger guide instead of several near-identical pages.

3. Quote sources and attribution

When we include an attributed quotation, our editorial goal is to identify its most reliable available source, author, and context. If we cannot verify an attribution, we may omit the author, label the quote as uncertain, or replace the quotation with an original line. We do not invent citations, books, or public figures to make a quote appear credible.

Original wishes, message examples, and prayers written for this site are presented as sample wording, not falsely attributed to established authors or religious texts.

4. Careful language and sensitive subjects

We edit for emotional appropriateness, plain language, inclusivity, and cultural context. Topics involving grief, illness, anxiety, faith, or family relationships need particular care. We avoid promises that a prayer will cause a particular outcome, and we do not offer clinical, legal, or professional counseling through inspirational content.

5. AI-assisted drafting

WishesVerse may use automated tools to help generate outlines, explore wording alternatives, edit copy, or create illustrations. Such tools can make factual and attribution errors. Our publication standard is that material is reviewed for relevance, clarity, originality, and accuracy before it is published. AI-assisted text is not evidence that a quotation or factual statement is correct.

Where a topic calls for verifiable facts or an exact literary quotation, we aim to use dependable sources and avoid unsupported claims. Images are decorative unless their captions explain otherwise.

6. Updates and corrections

We may revise published pages to fix mistakes, improve examples, clarify sourcing, or respond to reader feedback. A visible update date should reflect meaningful editorial changes, not a superficial timestamp refresh. Material corrections are prioritized when they affect attribution, facts, or reader understanding.

7. Advertising and editorial independence

If WishesVerse displays advertisements or sponsored material, commercial relationships will not determine how quotes are attributed or whether a correction is made. Sponsored content, if published, should be identifiable to readers. We do not sell positive editorial coverage as independent opinion.

8. Report a concern

If you spot an error, include the article URL, a description of the issue, and any credible reference that can help us review it. Please use our contact form.

Our policy describes the standards we aim to follow. Keeping them meaningful requires editorial review of each published article, not simply publishing a policy page.
